This is an example of what can happen with layers in fine or thin hair. It's my opinion that a blunt line is better for this hair type. Layers are possible but an experienced hair stylist will consider the hair density carefully and only cut what I call 'surface layers' to avoid this kind of thin wispy see-through look.
